We got to go back to our home church on Sunday, July 10th!!! It had been over a month since we had been home and we love Living Church so much. It was so good to see friends and tell many people for the first time about our new adventure to England. The only sad part for us was that we don’t know when we’ll get to be back again since we’re trying to get services to raise support each week. We’ll miss you Living Church and Pastor Dan and Rachel!
Thanks for reading and pray for us to be able to raise our support quickly so we can get to England as soon as possible.

We were able to minister at a great church in Caldwell, TX on July 3rd. It was about a 3-hour trip but there wasn’t much traffic, which was nice. Unfortunately for me we were driving straight into Aggie territory (I’ve always been a Longhorn fan) but it was kind of cool to see College Station anyway. We spent time with the pastor and his beautiful family on Saturday and the boys got to see the pastor’s amazing train collection! Also, the boys really loved playing with their kids and eating dirt cup pie for dessert!
God moved in a great way on Sunday morning. We got to minister in music and I preached for the 2nd week in a row! I was nervous again but earlier in the week I felt like God spoke a word to me to share with the church – Faith. He really helped me put the message together and Mer helped me organize it with power point. On stage I felt more comfortable preaching than I ever have, and I know it’s only because of the grace of God. All I know to keep telling myself is, “God, you have worked so many miracles to get us to this point so I know you are able to work another one and move in spite of me.” Besides, it’s not about me anyway. It’s about furthering His kingdom and He’s not only equipped me for His work in England but also for His work here in the U.S. before we leave.

After our training in MO, we were able to spend time with some of our friends in Arkansas. We ate lots of food, saw some exciting new building projects, and Meredith learned how to put a feather in her hair J
Our first post-PFO service was at a large Spanish Church in Rogers, AR. I was able to use some of my Spanish as I addressed the congregation and introduced of one the songs we sang. After service we ate with the pastor & his family. While finishing up our food, the pastor was able to make a phone connection with another pastor and got me another service in Hot Springs at 6 p.m. that night!
Only bad thing about this was that it was already 3:00 and Hot Springs was 4 hours away. So I called the pastor but he didn’t seem too worried. He said, “Well, you’ll get there around the time worship is finishing up so it will be ok.” He then told me that he wanted me to just go ahead and preach the whole service. This worked out great for him because his son had been begging for him to go to a youth event with him that night and now he would be able to go!
I was nervous to say the least. I had only preached one time before and that was when I was in High School to my youth group. Not only that but I literally had no time to prepare because I would be driving up until the point when I would walk onto the stage. I prayed while driving and I felt like I was supposed to preach a message from Isaiah 6:1-8.
While driving, I called my dad told him what I would be preaching. He said that he had just been looking over his own sermon on the same exact passage of scripture! This was a definite confirmation to me that I was supposed to preach on it but I was still uneasy about the whole thing. Well, about that time while I was still on the phone with my dad I saw an exit sign on the interstate for London, AR. That sign was just what I needed to remind me that God was with us and that He was still directing our paths.
At the end of the message that night 3 people raised their hands for salvation and 2 people were supernaturally healed! One woman said that she had had knee surgery and that she had trouble walking ever since but now she was healed and didn’t feel any pain. A man said that he had heart pain but that it was completely gone after we prayed.
