Razorback Country!

After our training in MO, we were able to spend time with some of our friends in Arkansas. We ate lots of food, saw some exciting new building projects, and Meredith learned how to put a feather in her hair J
Our first post-PFO service was at a large Spanish Church in Rogers, AR. I was able to use some of my Spanish as I addressed the congregation and introduced of one the songs we sang. After service we ate with the pastor & his family. While finishing up our food, the pastor was able to make a phone connection with another pastor and got me another service in Hot Springs at 6 p.m. that night!
Only bad thing about this was that it was already 3:00 and Hot Springs was 4 hours away. So I called the pastor but he didn’t seem too worried. He said, “Well, you’ll get there around the time worship is finishing up so it will be ok.” He then told me that he wanted me to just go ahead and preach the whole service. This worked out great for him because his son had been begging for him to go to a youth event with him that night and now he would be able to go!
I was nervous to say the least. I had only preached one time before and that was when I was in High School to my youth group. Not only that but I literally had no time to prepare because I would be driving up until the point when I would walk onto the stage. I prayed while driving and I felt like I was supposed to preach a message from Isaiah 6:1-8.
While driving, I called my dad told him what I would be preaching. He said that he had just been looking over his own sermon on the same exact passage of scripture! This was a definite confirmation to me that I was supposed to preach on it but I was still uneasy about the whole thing. Well, about that time while I was still on the phone with my dad I saw an exit sign on the interstate for London, AR. That sign was just what I needed to remind me that God was with us and that He was still directing our paths.
At the end of the message that night 3 people raised their hands for salvation and 2 people were supernaturally healed! One woman said that she had had knee surgery and that she had trouble walking ever since but now she was healed and didn’t feel any pain. A man said that he had heart pain but that it was completely gone after we prayed.
Thanks for reading and pray for us to be able to raise our support quickly so we can get to England as soon as possible.
